** Warrants

Warrant service, 12:44 a.m. May 16, 0-100 block East Harbor Drive. Jonathan Cody Myers, 33, of Warrenton was served with a warrant from Clatsop County Sheriff’s Office.

Warrant service, 12:05 a.m. May 18, Clatsop County Jail. Joshua Scott McKey, 28, with no known address was served with a contempt of court warrant.

** Theft and burglaries

Shoplifting, 8 p.m. May 6, Fred Meyer. Michael Allen Meeuwsen, 28, of Warrenton was cited for third-degree theft after he allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for $53 in beer, a video game and a handbag.

Shoplifting, 8 p.m. May 15, Walmart. Rebekka Graff, 31, of Ocean Park, Wash., and Stephanie Ann Pedersen, 31, of Seaview, Wash., each were cited for second-degree theft and Pedersen also was cited for criminal mischief after they attempted to leave the store without paying for $263 in makeup, a vibrator, clothes and office supplies.

Lost ring, 6:50 p.m. May 17, Fred Meyer. A woman reported losing a $2,000 ring from the pocket of her jacket.

Stolen battery, 2:19 p.m. May 19, 1000 block Marlin Avenue. A store owner reported a $100 battery was stolen from a cargo trailer.

Shoplifting, 8:45 p.m. May 19, Walmart. Jacob Stanley Wieckowski, 35, of Seaside was cited for third-degree theft and criminal mischief after he allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for $53 in meat and spray paint.

** Suspicious circumstances/disturbances

Junk/creating an attractive nuisance, 2:42 p.m. April 24, 1900 block South Main Avenue. Jason W. Palmberg, 45, of Astoria was cited for creating a chronic attractive nuisance and chronic junk.

Bullet into windshield, no injuries, 2:34 p.m. May 16, Highway 101 at Ensign Lane. A man reported a bullet striking his windshield. An officer found a one-inch circular crack with glass splinters on the dash, but no bullet.

Trespassing, 9:30 p.m. May 16, Walmart. Shendell Jean Walgren, 25, of Seaside was cited for first-degree criminal trespassing when she returned to the store after having been trespassed previously.

Counterfeit money, 12:37 p.m. May 17, Costco. Store employees reported finding a counterfeit $20 bill with their money counted for deposit.

** Vehicles

Traffic stop, 11:02 p.m. May 9, Highway 101 at Highway 104. Arick J. Markin, 25, of Warrenton was cited for possession of methamphetamine and criminal failure to carry and present a license and driving while suspended.

Two-vehicle crash, no injuries, 2:18 p.m. May 13, Highway 101 at Neptune.

Rear-end crash of van into car, two injuries, 1:11 p.m. May 14, Youngs Bay Bridge Causeway. A couple in the car were taken to Columbia Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries. The van’s driver was cited for following too closely and driving without insurance.

Bus vs. pickup, no injuries, 2:48 p.m. May 14, South Main Avenue near Southwest First Street.

Two-vehicle crash, no injuries, 4:20 p.m. May 15, 800 block South Main Avenue. One driver cited for illegal backing.

Reckless driving, 7:24 p.m. May 17, Pacific and Lake drives, Hammond. Albert J. Burkleo, 38, of Hammond was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless endangerment of another and driving while suspended. He was booked at Clatsop County Jail, where his blood-alcohol level was recorded at 0.10 percent.

Traffic stop, 10:33 p.m. May 17, Highway 101 at Marlin Avenue. Driver cited for driving while suspended.

Vehicle into parked car/hit-and-run, 10:54 p.m. May 17, Warrenton Mini Mart. Ruben Vera-Perez, 48, of Astoria was arrested about a mile away on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants, fleeing the scene of an accident, driving while suspended and driving without insurance. He was booked at Clatsop County Jail, where his blood-alcohol content was recorded at 0.19 percent.

Speeding, 6:28 a.m. May 19, Ridge Road near Parkview Apartments. Driver cited for going 70 in a 45 mph zone.

Two-vehicle rear-end collision, no injuries, 3:37 p.m. May 19, Highway 101 at Neptune Street.

Huge backyard burn after dark, 9:50 p.m. May 16, 2000 block Southeast Airport Lane.

Provide mutual aid for structure fire, 2:06 p.m. May 18, 1431 Commercial St., Astoria.

Female with difficulty breathing, 1:52 a.m. May 13, 0-100 block Southeast Third Street.

Female lift assist, 9:30 a.m. May 13, 800 block Northwest Warrenton Drive.

Female with back pain, 8:29 a.m. May 14, 1100 block Northwest Warrenton Drive.

Female with diabetic-related issue, 11:35 a.m. May 14, 200 block Southwest Alder Avenue.

Male vomiting blood, 10:11 p.m. May 14, Fort Stevens State Park.

Unresponsive male in restroom, 3:42 p.m. May 15, 0-100 block East Harbor Drive.

Female with difficulty breathing, 1:32 p.m. May 16, 1600 block Ensign Lane.

Female with left-side pain, 3:49 p.m. May 16, 0-100 block Southwest Birch Court.

Male having asthma attack, 12:36 a.m. May 17, 400 block Northwest Ridge Road.

Female fall patient, 12:39 a.m. May 17, 0-100 block Northwest Elm Avenue.

Female who pulled muscle in side, 8:39 a.m. May 17, 100 block Southeast Anchor Avenue.

Female who fell and hit head, 11:41 a.m. May 17, 600 block South Highway 101.

Male on meth who’s suicidal, 4:06 p.m. May 17, 1600 block Southeast Ensign Lane.

Female who’s dizzy, 8:03 p.m. May 17, 700 block Northwest Warrenton Drive.

Male with laceration to arm, 1:49 a.m. May 18, 1600 block Southeast Honeysuckle Loop.

Female with compacted bowel, 10:43 a.m. May 18, 1000 block Northwest Warrenton Drive.
