Kids can become junior naturalists

Wildlife Center of the North Coast will have a weeklong summer camp for kids who want to become junior naturalists.

The camp is open to students entering third and fourth grades who want to learn about animals and discover the outdoors. The Wildlife Center is on 105 acres and, during the week, campers will visit wetlands, forests and other habitats and learn about the animals and plants that live there.

Camp is from 8 a.m. to noon July 22-26. Cost is $150, with a limited number of scholarships available.
