** Thefts and burglaries

Vehicle burglary, 12:32 p.m. July 24, Fred Meyer parking lot. A woman reported someone broke into her vehicle and stole an iPod, small bag and backpack and scattered around items from her glove box.

Shoplifting, 10 p.m. July 25, Walmart. John Hugh Thompson, 45, of Seaside was cited for third-degree theft and Jessie A. Hart, 30, of Astoria was cited for criminal trespassing after Thompson allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for $13 in batteries. Hart had previously been trespassed from all Walmart properties.

Shoplifting, 3:30 p.m. July 26, Walmart. Michael L. Orvis, 57, and Serena A. Foreshee, 50, both of Long Beach, Wash., each were cited for third-degree theft and criminal mischief after they allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for $91 in food and ice.

Shoplifting, noon July 27, Walmart. Rodrick K. Stieben, 27, of Seaside was cited for third-degree theft after he allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for a $5 can of wine.

Shoplifting, 3:50 p.m. July 27, Walmart. Crystal J. Herren, 36, of Warrenton was cited for third-degree theft after she allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for $30 worth of beer.

Shoplifting, 11 p.m. July 27, Walmart. Andrea J. Aaro, 50, of Warrenton was cited for third-degree theft after she allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for $30 worth of pens and a makeup bag.

Employee theft, 11:21 p.m. July 27, Walmart. After an internal investigation into potential theft by a night-shift employee, police were called to arrest Ray L. Andrews, 64, of Warrenton on suspicion of second-degree theft of approximately $600 worth of merchandise since January.

Shoplifting, 5:52 p.m. July 28, Walmart. Eric Wayne Ransom, 27, of Warrenton was cited for third-degree theft after he allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for $50 in snack foods and clothes.

** Suspicious circumstances/disturbances

Malicious mischief, 6:39 a.m. July 24, 100 block Northwest Cedar Ave. A man reported someone smashed the window of his wife’s pickup while she was out of town, with damage estimated at $300.

Creating a nuisance, 11:10 a.m. July 24, 100 block Southwest Alder Court. A 62-year-old man was cited for noxious vegetation, scattering rubbish, junk and creating an attractive nuisance on his property.

Unlicensed dog, 12:40 p.m. July 25, 1600 block Southwest Juniper Avenue. Owner cited.

** Vehicles

Two-vehicle collision, no injuries, 11:42 p.m. July 18, Warrenton Mini Mart parking lot.

Drunken driving, 8:27 p.m. July 21, Highway 101 at Marlin Avenue. Luz M. Greenfield, 48, of Long Beach, Wash., was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants. She was booked at Clatsop County Jail, where her blood-alcohol level was recorded at 0.16 percent.

Two-vehicle hit-and-run collision, no injuries, 3:15 p.m. July 23, South Main Avenue at Southeast 10th Street. Loren D. Schneider, 67, of Ocean Park, Wash., was cited for failing to perform the duties of a driver.

Hit-and-run collision, two minor injuries, 5:58 p.m. July 24, Ensign Lane near Astoria Ford. Steven Craig Jensen, 41, no known address, was arrested on suspicion of hit-and-run, reckless driving, driving without insurance and driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was booked at Clatsop County Jail where his blood-alcohol content was recorded at 0.32 percent. Two people in the Toyota FJ Cruiser he struck complained of pain.

Hit-and-run collision, 11:10 a.m. July 25, Warrenton Community Center parking lot. Daniel J. Arnoth, 74, of Warrenton was cited for criminal hit-and-run and driving without insurance after several witnesses provided information to police.

Dangerous left turn, 11:30 a.m. July 26, Highway 101 at Ensign Lane. Driver cited.

Traffic stop, 9:23 a.m. July 27, South Main Avenue at Southwest Ninth Street. Michael R. Erickson, 31, of Warrenton was cited for criminal failure to carry and present a license and no operator’s license.

Female who fell and injured hip, 10:43 p.m. July 22, 700 block Northwest Warrenton Drive.

Female who fell with head laceration, 1:06 p.m. July 23, 200 block Southwest Alder Avenue.

Intoxicated male falling into traffic, 4:06 p.m. July 23, 300 block South Main Avenue.

Suicidal female, 4:21 p.m. July 23, 500 block Silverside Street.

Female fall patient, 11:12 p.m. July 23, 90900 block Highway 101.

Female fall patient, 6:03 a.m. July 24, 200 block Southwest Birch Court.

Male with possible heart attack, 10:50 a.m. July 24, 33200 block Sunset Beach Lane.

Child hit in head by golf ball, 11:26 a.m. July 24, 33400 block Sunset Beach Lane.

Female who’s dizzy and shaking, 6:50 p.m. July 24, 200 block Southwest Birch Court.

Male and female passed out in vehicle, 11:46 p.m. July 24, 0-100 block East Harbor Drive.

Male who’s not feeling well, 9:48 a.m. July 25, 200 block Southwest Alder Avenue.

Male with difficulty breathing, 2:57 p.m. July 26, 500 block Southwest First Street.

Female going into labor, 9:36 p.m. July 26, 91500 block Railroad Road.

Male with possible stroke, 1:11 p.m. July 27, 300 block Northeast Skipanon Drive.

Female fall patient needs to be transported, 6:40 a.m. July 28, 200 block Southwest Birch Male fall patient, 2:18 p.m. July 28, 33300 block Doryman Lane.

Male with medication reaction, 2:34 p.m. July 28, 200 block Tyee Street.

Male with stomach pain, 5:07 p.m. July 28, 200 block Tyee Street.
