Thefts/burglaries

Employee theft, 12:22 a.m. March 23, Fred Meyer. Jeremy Robert Hahn, 39, of Warrenton was arrested on suspicion of theft II and released pending a court hearing.

Suspicious circumstances/disturbances

Malicious mischief, 2:56 p.m. March 27, Warrenton Community Library. An outside electrical box was tampered with and a padlock opened.

Disorderly conduct, 10:15 p.m. March 27, Warrenton Mini Mart parking lot. Joe W. Blackler, 36, of Warrenton was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct II and booked at Clatsop County Jail, where his blood-alcohol content was recorded at 0.17 percent.

Craigslist scam, 11:40 a.m. March 28, 1800 block First Avenue, Hammond. A man received a phony check for an item he’d placed on Craigslist.

Found dogs, 7:58 a.m. March 29, Third Street and South Main Avenue. A small tan dog wearing a bright orange collar and a small black dog with a black shoulder harness were running loose and had no tags or identification. They were taken to the county animal shelter.

Disturbance, 10:53 p.m. March 31, campground loop C, Fort Stevens State Park. Occupants agreed to quiet down and go to bed.

Traffic

Car vs. motorcycle, noninjury, 8:56 p.m. March 26, 800 block Peacock Avenue, Hammond. Mason L. Watkins, 24, of Hammond, who was driving a 2010 Honda Accord, stuck the back of a motorcycle being driven by Richard Ganoe, 61, of Hammond. Watkins, who left the scene and drove to her home, was arrested on suspicion of reckless driving and failing to perform the duties of a driver when property is damaged.

Expired plates, 2:35 p.m. March 27, South Main Avenue at Second Street. Morgan Van Jarrett, 33, of Seaside was arrested on suspicion of failing to carry and present a driver’s license and cited for driving while suspended and expired plates.

Two-vehicle noninjury collision, 1:31 p.m. March 28, Highway 101 at the Premarq Center. One driver cited for following too closely.

Two-vehicle noninjury collision, 3:10 p.m. March 28, Highway 101 at Home Depot.

Four-vehicle hit-and-run, 7:01 a.m. March 31, 400 block South Main Avenue. An unknown vehicle struck two cars, pushing one of them into the hitch of a parked trailer and damaging all.

Drunken driving, 2:15 a.m. March 31, North Main Avenue at Harbor Drive. Holly Jean Stevens, 45, of Warrenton was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants and cited for driving while suspended. She was booked at Clatsop County Jail where her blood-alcohol content was recorded at 0.12 percent.

Vehicle and trailer in ditch, noninjury, 9:49 a.m. April 1, Highway 101 at Young’s Bay Plaza.

Single-vehicle crash with driver leaving scene, 10:27 a.m. April 2, 200 block South Main Avenue. An Astoria man had fallen asleep at the wheel and the car jumped the curb, plowed through a bush and almost hit a phone pole. He told officers he’d left the scene to find the police station, which, he learned later, was right next to the crash scene.

Provide mutual aid for structure fire, 8:40 p.m. March 28, 1223 South Roosevelt Drive Seaside.

Assist OSP with rescue tools, 2 p.m. March 29, 2300 block Southeast Dolphin Avenue.

Burn pile, 11:30 a.m. March 31, 200 block Tyee Street.

Female passed out beside road, 12:03 a.m. March 26, 0-100 block Northeast Heron Drive.

Pick up deceased dog, 11:14 p.m. March 26, 1000 block Northwest Warrenton Drive.

Female who fell and injured shoulder, 11:36 p.m. March 27, 1200 block Third Avenue.

Female having possible seizures, 11:47 a.m. March 29, 1100 block Northwest Ridge Road.

Female child with cut hand, 12:44 p.m. March 29, 0-100 block Southeast 15 Street.

Female with dizziness, 8:09 a.m. March 31, 90900 block Highway 101.

Male with unknown medical problem, 12:43 p.m. March 31, Fort Stevens State Park ranger station.

Male unconscious in boat, 1:04 p.m. March 31, Warrenton Marina sport dock.

Deceased male, 10:29 a.m. April 1, 0-100 block Juniper Avenue.

Female with gastrointestinal issues, 1:08 p.m. April 1, 33600 block Perkins Lane.

Female sleeping in pickup, 8:44 p.m. April 1, 1600 block East Harbor Drive.
