** Warrants

Warrant service, 4:29 p.m. Sept. 16, Skipanon and Harbor drives. Heidi Marie Keene, 49, of Portland was arrested on a warrant from Columbia County Court.

Warrant service, 8 a.m. Sept. 17, 33200 block Sunset Beach Lane. Lewis M. Leech, 42, of Warrenton was arrested on a contempt of court warrant.

** Thefts and burglaries

Shoplifting, 3:45 p.m. Sept. 19, Home Depot. Frank K. Nimz, 38, no known address, was cited for third-degree theft.

Shoplifting, 4:07 p.m. Sept. 21, Fred Meyer. A female left the store with a bag filled with clothing and other merchandise. She was seen getting into an orange compact car near America’s Mattress.

Shoplifting, 7:22 p.m. Sept. 22, Big 5 Sporting Goods. A man wearing an orange baseball cap walked out of the store without paying for a metal detector with an estimated value of $100. A customer chased him, but he was able to escape in a gold Ford Explorer.

** Suspicious circumstances/disturbances

Trespassing, 2:49 p.m. Sept. 17, Fred Meyer. Courtnie M. Wofford, 24, of Roseburg was cited for criminal trespassing.

Trespassing, 2:52 p.m. Sept. 17, Fred Meyer. Lee Alan Smith, 47, of Gearhart was cited for criminal trespassing.

Loitering, noon Sept. 22, Main Street Market. Two people loitering outside the store were harassing customers and employees. A 32-year-old woman and 33-year-old man were trespassed from the location.

Trespassing, 4:40 p.m. Sept. 22, 1300 block Southeast Second Street. A man in an old motorhome with no registration plates has been camping on the George Morland Plumbing property. He was trespassed at the request of the company’s president.

** Vehicles

Single-vehicle crash, one injury, 5:12 p.m. Sept. 20, Highway 101 at Sunset Beach Lane.

Running a stoplight, 11:35 p.m. Sept. 20, Ensign Lane at Highway 101. Driver cited.

Two-vehicle crash, no injuries, 2:44 p.m. Sept. 21, Highway 101 and Southeast Marlin Avenue. Anthony E. Stoinich, 59, of Astoria was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants, failure to carry and present a license and using an invalid license. He was booked at Clatsop County Jail, where his blood-alcohol level was recorded at 0.14 percent.

Traffic stop, 1:39 p.m. Sept. 23, Fifth Avenue at King Salmon Street. Donald O. Lansdown Jr., 41, of Astoria was cited for criminal failure to carry and present a license, driving without a license, driving uninsured and failure to carry registration.

Tree down, 7:16 a.m. Sept. 18, 600 block Northwest Cedar Court.
