Thefts and burglaries

Stolen license plate, 11:55 a.m. June 4, 800 block Alternate Highway 101.

Shoplifting, 3:30 p.m. June 8, Walmart. Michele A. Sealy, 33, of San Jose, Calif., was cited for third-degree theft after she allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for $56 in makeup and sewing items.

Shoplifting, 3:30 p.m. June 10, Rite Aid. Nicole D. Bowers, 24, of Astoria was cited for third-degree theft after she allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for a $13 toy truck.

Shoplifting, 3:40 p.m. June 12, Walmart. Nicole A. Clark, 40, of Seaside was cited for second-degree theft after she allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for $199 in groceries.

Shoplifting, 5:38 p.m. June 12, Rite Aid. Jacob M. Kitzman, 28, no known address, was cited for third-degree theft and criminal trespassing after he allegedly left the store without paying for two cans of malt liquor.

Shoplifting, 6:55 p.m. June 12, Walmart. Patricia N. Bernal, 26, of Scappoose was cited for second-degree theft and criminal mischief after she allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for $100 in clothes and a purse.

Vehicle burglary, 10:40 a.m. June 13, 0-100 block Southeast Second Street. A man reported someone stole his $90 Carhartt jacket out of his vehicle.

Auto theft, 4 a.m. June 14, 200 block Tyee Street. A woman reported she’d loaned her vehicle to a relative the previous day so he could go to the auto parts store and he never returned. The vehicle was stopped at 6 a.m. June 14 in Astoria. Kenneth Allen Medjo, 50, of Hammond was arrested on suspicion of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Suspicious circumstances/disturbances

Disturbance, 1:05 p.m. June 10, 0-100 block Alternate Highway 101. William M. Miller, 59, of Vancouver, Wash., was arrested on a felony warrant and for violating a restraining order. He was booked at Clatsop County Jail.

Drinking in public, 3:48 p.m. June 11, Second Street kayak dock. Brandon R. Gillette, 41, no known address, was cited.

Harassment, 8:46 p.m. June 14, 1100 block Northwest Warrenton Drive. A woman reported someone threw rocks at her vehicle, denting the bumper.

Hit-and-run collision, unknown time on June 7, Home Depot parking lot.

Traffic stop, 8:43 a.m. June 8, First and Elm streets. Driver cited for driving while suspended.

Traffic stop, 12:09 p.m. June 8, Southwest Second and Alder streets. Driver cited for driving while suspended and have no insurance.

Traffic stop, 7:33 p.m. June 9, South Main Avenue at 15th Street. Driver cited for driving while suspended.

Traffic stop, 6:14 a.m. June 11, Ridge Road at Ninth Street. Driver cited for driving while suspended and having no insurance.

Dump truck into ditch, no injuries, 10:48 a.m. June 12, Highway 101 at Alternate Highway 101.

Driver with a gun, 3:03 p.m. June 12, Highway 30 near Knappa. Several drivers reported a man driving a U-Haul who pointed a gun at them and made gestures. Rickey Dewitt Cockrall, 64, of Aloha was booked at Clatsop County Jail on suspicion of menacing and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Single-vehicle rollover crash, 11:38 p.m. June 12, Astoria-Megler Bridge. The driver of a red Mitsubishi reported a passenger in the back seat grabbed the steering wheel, causing her to lose control; the car swerved onto the bridge railing and then rolled several times before coming to rest on its side. The driver, a 38-year-old woman from Longview, and passenger, a 41-year-old man, were taken to Columbia Memorial Hospital with injuries.

Fender-bender, 12:25 p.m. June 12, parking lot near Dollar Tree.

Traffic stop, 8 p.m. June 12, Eighth Avenue and Iredale Street. Driver cited for driving while suspended.

Vehicle into ditch, 5:40 a.m. June 13, Highway 101 at Gearhart Lane. James Robert Moon, 23, of Seaside was taken to Providence Seaside Hospital with injuries. His blood-alcohol content was recorded at 0.11 percent three hours after the crash and he was booked at Clatsop County Jail on suspicion of reckless driving and driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Speeding, 11:30 a.m. June 13, Northwest Ridge Road. Driver cited for going 59 in a 45 mph zone.

Rear-end collision, 1:36 p.m. June 13, Highway 30 near Ziak-Gnat Creek Lane. The driver of a gold Ford Aerostar had stopped to make a left-hand turn and was struck by a silver Toyota Highlander driven by a 68-year-old woman. She was hospitalized with injuries.

Reckless driving, 3:16 p.m. June 13, Highway 101 at Ensign Lane. Driver cited for unsafe passing on the right and careless driving.

Hit-and-run, 4:53 p.m. June 13, Walmart parking lot.

Hit-and run, 10:52 p.m. June 13, Harbor Drive at South Main Avenue. Giovanny Ramirez-Peon, 18, of Seaside was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants, failing to perform the duties of a driver involved in an accident and being a minor in possession of alcohol by consumption. He was booked at Clatsop County Jail, where his blood-alcohol content was recorded at 0.16 percent.

Failure to yield to emergency vehicle, 11:27 p.m. June 14, Highway 101 at Alternate Highway 101. Driver cited.

Single-vehicle crash, no injuries, 1:25 a.m. June 15, Highway 30 east of Jewell junction. The driver, whose name and age weren’t given, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants. A juvenile female passenger was released to her parents at the scene.

Speeding, 3:45 p.m. June 16, Highway 26, east of Jewell Junction. Teresa Jean Eisfelder, 54, of Fairburn, Ga., was arrested on suspicion of reckless driving after she was clocked going 104 mph.

Male paraglider with possible back injury, 6:01 p.m. June 12, parking lot B, Fort Stevens.

Female with difficulty breathing, 9:22 p.m. June 12, 100 block Southeast Second Street.

Female with difficulty breathing, 7:24 a.m. June 14, 100 block Southeast Anchor Avenue.

Female possibly having a seizure, 9:23 a.m. June 15, 300 block Marlin Avenue.

Male with difficulty breathing, 5:37 a.m. June 16, Southeast Jetty Avenue.

Possible heart issues, 1:41 p.m. June 16, Walmart.

Male who fell outside, 2:14 p.m. June 16, 300 block Seventh Avenue.
