Warrants

Warrant service, 9:31 p.m. Oct. 2, Panda Express. Anatoliy V. Melnik, 33, of Vancouver, Wash., was arrested on warrants from Clackamas and Clark counties.

Warrant service, 5:25 a.m. Oct. 4, 600 block Marlin Avenue. Zackary J. James, 35, of Portland was arrested on a failure to appear warrant from McMinville Municipal Court.

Warrant service, 1:50 p.m. Oct.1, police station. Scott D. Mueller, 70, of Warrenton was arrested for an outstanding warrant from Clackamas County.

Thefts and burglaries

Stolen bicycle, 1 p.m. Sept. 21, 0-100 block Highway 101. A man reported his bicycle valued at $400 was taken from behind a business while he worked inside.

Theft, 1:10 p.m. Sept. 30, Harbor Drive at Southeast King Street. Timothy M. Goza, 51, no known address, was cited for criminal trespassing and third-degree theft.

Theft, Oct. 2, Costco. Lacey M. Hartman, 28, of Lake Oswego was cited for a $106 theft that occurred at the store on June 5.

Shoplifting, 6:51 p.m. Oct. 5, Walmart. Linda M. Hernandez, 57, of Warrenton was cited for third-degree theft after she allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for $34 in groceries, including a box of wine. Her companion, Nicholus A. Lyons, 38, of Warrenton was cited for criminal mischief for opening and drinking the wine.

Suspicious circumstances and disturbances

Disturbance, 12:25 p.m. Sept. 29, Main Street Market. Eric L. Brown Jr., 28, no known address, was cited for criminal harassment.

Found drugs, 1:47 p.m. Sept. 29, Walgreens. A woman reported finding a baggie with crystals believed to be methamphetamine outside the store. It was taken for destruction.

Trespassing, 4 p.m. Sept. 29, Fred Meyer. Timothy M. Goza, 51, no known address, was cited for criminal trespassing.

Malicious mischief, 8:52 a.m. Sept. 30, Ocean Crest Chevrolet. Two vehicles on the lot were shot during the night at close range.

Found property, 3:44 p.m. Oct. 1, Ridge Road at Delaura Beach Road. Needles were found on the ground and, while the officer was on the scene, a locked box was found. It held three containers and more needles.

Trespassing, 10:45 p.m. Oct. 3, Fred Meyer. Thai D. Clappe, 38, and Whitney A. Obad, 26, both of Astoria, were cited for criminal trespassing.

Illegal camping, 10:30 p.m. Oct. 4, Fred Meyer. A 45-year-old woman was cited.

Possible explosive device, 11:29 a.m. Oct. 4, Astoria Police Department. A citizen found a suspicious device in Pacific County, Wash., and brought it to the station. Oregon Bomb Squad called.

Fire alarm, 12:40 p.m. Oct. 2, 1400 block Southeast Ninth Street.

Possible illegal burn pile, 7:43 p.m. Oct. 2, 95000 block Highway 101.

Smell of smoke in house, 8:26 a.m. Oct. 3, 800 block Eighth Street.

Power line down, 9:20 p.m. Oct. 3, Hammond Marina.

Two-vehicle collision, no injuries, 4:40 p.m. Sept. 24, Walmart parking log.

Traffic stop, 2:05 a.m. Sept. 29, Warrenton Mini Mart. Driver cited for driving while suspended.

Two-vehicle collision, one minor injury, 2:20 p.m. Sept. 29, Highway 101 at Neptune Avenue.

Two-vehicle collision, unknown injury, 0-100 block Highway 101.

Traffic stop, 5:54 a.m. Oct. 3, four-way stop. John W. Connell, 58, of Hammond was cited for failing to carry and present a license, driving while suspended and having no insurance.

Two-vehicle collision, no injuries, 8:02 a.m. Oct. 3, 500 block Northwest Date Street.

Traffic stop, 12:40 a.m. Oct. 4, East Harbor Street at Ensign Drive. Driver cited for having no insurance.

Two-vehicle collision, no injuries, 1:01 p.m. Oct. 4, 200 block Southwest Main Court.

Traffic stop, 6:30 p.m. Oct. 4, South Main Avenue at Southwest 14th Street. Driver cited for driving while suspended and having no insurance.

Deceased person, 2:44 p.m. Oct. 3, behind Costco.

Female who fell down an embankment, 3:50 p.m. Oct. 4, 700 block Northwest Warrenton Drive.
