Warrants

Warrant served, 2:30 p.m. May 16, Warrenton Police Department. Dylan James Krizan, 24, of Astoria was arrested for an outstanding municipal court warrant.

Warrant served, 12:19 p.m. May 21, Warrenton Mini Mart. Alexander James Arvin, 33, no known address, was arrested on a Clatsop County Sheriff’s Office warrant and booked at Clatsop County Jail.

Thefts/Burglaries

Stolen cell phone, 1:59 p.m. May 17, 1600 block South Main Avenue. Man believes his former roommate took his phone when he moved out.

Missing cell phone, 7:49 p.m. May 17, Ross Dress for Less. A Samsung S-8 valued at $700 was missing.

Shoplifting, 11:30 a.m. May 18, Staples. A man concealed a Bluetooth boom box under his shirt and ran from the store.

Wallet stolen, 12:02 p.m. May 21, Fred Meyer. Man reported his wallet was missing. It was found in the planters outside; $80 cash was taken but credit cards were still in the wallet. Lost property, 8:46 a.m. May 21, Warrenton Police Department. A man reported his South Dakota driver’s license was missing.

Stolen bicycle, 5:09 p.m. May 21, 0-100 block Southeast 15th Street. A purple and white Roadmaster worth $140 was taken.

Vehicle prowl, 8:49 p.m. May 21, Goodwill parking lot. A couple reported someone stole a Garmin GPS unit and a black fishing pole from his vehicle. Value of items was listed as $300.

Suspicious circumstances/Disturbances

Criminal mischief, 2:47 p.m. May 14, 1000 block South Main Avenue. Tire slashed.

Harassment, 11:56 a.m. May 16, 1600 block Harrison. Debanie N. Horn, 20, of Astoria was cited for criminal telephone harassment.

Elk hazing, 1:05 p.m. May 18, Southwest Juniper Avenue. A black pickup was chasing elk around in the neighborhood.

Disturbance, 2:40 p.m. May 18, Costco. Two transients were panhandling patrons leaving the business. The group moved to the corner of Ensign and Discovery lanes.

Fight, 7:09 p.m. May 18, Dairy Queen. Three transients, one of them armed with a knife, were arguing. Parties were separated.

Road rage and brandishing a firearm, 2:22 p.m. May 19, Hammond Fire Department. A 24-year-old female driver from Astoria reported a man driving a white Dodge Neon pointed a gun at her when she pulled beside him and told her “stop riding my a- -” The vehicle was traced to a couple living at the KOA. Daniel Martin Keach, 32, of Warrenton was arrested on suspicion of menacing and unlawful use of a weapon. He was booked at Clatsop County Jail.

Trespassing, 8:10 p.m. May 19, Fred Meyer. Joshua Scott McKey, 27, of Seaside was arrested for criminal trespassing after returning to the store after previously being trespassed.

Found property, 2 p.m. May 20, Costco. A man reported someone left two California license plates in the back of his pickup; plates were registered to Hertz in Los Angeles.

Disturbance, 7:53 p.m. May 20, Warrenton Mini Mart. A 57-year-old Warrenton man was trespassed from the business.

Criminal mischief, 11:42 a.m. May 21, 0-100 block Southwest 14th Place. Tire slashed. Disturbance, 2:23 a.m. May 21, transient camp behind Goodwill. One man threatened a second man, who called police. An officer advised the frightened man to camp elsewhere.

Noisy neighbors, Noon May 22, 500 block Jetty Street. Man complained his neighbor’s child was jumping off the furniture and it shook the beams in his apartment.

Vehicles

Hit and run, 9:57 a.m. May 4, Fred Meyer. Follow up at noon, May 17, with video surveillance showing the suspect driver using a card in the grocery store. It was traced to an Astoria resident. Ashley D. Morris, 40, was given a criminal citation for failing to perform the duties of a driver involved in a crash and cited for driving uninsured.

Hit and run, 8:24 a.m. May 12, Northwest Fourth Street west of North Main Avenue.

Traffic stop, 12:14 a.m. May 15, Highway 101 at Youngs Bay Bridge. Andrew Brian Gessford, 24, of Astoria was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants/drugs.

Hit and run, 9:53 a.m. May 16, Warrenton Marina.

Vehicle vs. pole, noninjury, 8:51 p.m. May 16, 1200 block Lake Drive.

Speeding, 9:05 p.m. May 16, Lake Drive at Pacific Ridge. Driver cited for going 65 in a 45 mph zone.

Vehicle vs. parked car, noninjury, 9:53 p.m. May 16, 200 block Southwest Second Street.

Hit and run, 12:17 p.m. May 17, Neptune at Highway 101. A man driving a gray Chevy Trailblazer clipped another vehicle and did not stop to exchange information. The following day, the same vehicle was found at the north end of Sixth Street in Astoria after another driving complaint. Chad Philip Ivany, 43, of Rosburg, Wash., was arrested on suspicion of failing to perform the duties of a driver in a crash and cited for driving uninsured.

Traffic stop, 2:47 p.m. May 15, Neptune near Fred Meyer entrance. Driver cited for driving without insurance.

Traffic stop, 12:42 p.m. May 17, Highway 101 at Ensign Lane. Driver cited for having expired license plates.

Hit and run, 3:44 p.m. May 18, Alexandroff Dental parking lot.

Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, 12:29 p.m. May 20, 0-100 block Northwest Birch Avenue. A man accused his sometime live-in girlfriend of stealing his pickup. She was located and returned it.

Vehicle vs. divider sign, 3:42 p.m. May 19, 800 block Southeast Marlin Avenue. The 82-year-old female driver from Seaside appeared confused about what happened. Friends arrived to take her home; the vehicle was not operable and was towed. An officer requested a DMV evaluation.

Drunken driving, 1 a.m. May 20, Highway 101 at West Marine Drive. Jennifer Sentebaleng Litsiba, 27, of Astoria was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants and booked at Clatsop County Jail, where here blood-alcohol content was recorded at 0.12 percent. She also was cited for driving while suspended and driving without insurance.

Speeding, 4:52 p.m. May 20, Ridge Road at the soccer fields. Driver was cited for going 64 in a 45 mph zone.

Hit and run, 5:41 p.m. May 20, Fred Meyer.

Drunken driving, 6:01 p.m. May 20, Youngs Bay Plaza. John Andreas Owen, 49, of Scappoose was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants and refusing to take a breath test. He was booked at Clatsop County Jail.

Speeding, 11:55 p.m. May 21, Northwest Warrenton Drive at Northeast Fifth Street. Driver cited for going 55 in a 45 mph zone and for driving without insurance.
