Warrants

Warrant service, 1:38 p.m. May 28, South Jetty Inn. A woman wanted on warrants was arrested on three additional charges after she attempted to escape, causing a traffic hazard by running in a traffic lane on Pacific Drive. Patricia E. Havens, 26, of Hammond was captured about a block from the motel. She was booked at Clatsop County Jail on three warrants and arrested on suspicion of interfering with a police officer, disorderly conduct and escape.

Thefts/burglaries

Stolen plate, 11:30 a.m. May 28, 900 block Nautical Drive, Hammond. A man reported the rear license plate was stolen off a pickup while parked at his home.

Stolen plate, 4:42 p.m. May 28, Fred Meyer parking lot. A woman reported her front license plate was stolen off her Jeep while she was shopping.

Suspicious circumstances/disturbances

Transient living in a vacant house, 1:57 p.m. May 12, 0-100 block Northwest Gardenia Avenue. A dog was found in a bedroom along with a box of clothes. The dog was taken to the animal shelter.

Criminal mischief, 11:12 pm. May 22, First Street at Birch Avenue. Unknown male in dark clothing threw a bottle and shattered the back window of a car occupied by two women.

Disturbance, 2:41 a.m. May 26, Warrenton Mini Mart. Casey A. Scofield, 29, of Warrenton was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct.

Vandalism, 4:30 p.m. May 26, Iredale Inn. Someone playing video poker vandalized one of the machines.

Minor in possession of alcohol, 9:40 p.m. May 26, River Beach in Hammond. A 20-year-old Hammond woman was cited for possessing alcohol.

Domestic dispute, 7:29 a.m. May 27, 500 block Pacific Drive. A woman who was eight months pregnant and her live-in boyfriend began fighting when he woke her up to come to bed. It escalated to biting and throwing items. She was taken to the hospital for evaluation due to her pregnancy. No arrest was made in what was determined to be a mutual fight.

Transient using facilities, 11:03 a.m. May 27, Fitness 1440. After some question about whether he had membership rights, the man was asked to leave and return when gym staff members are available.

Trespassing, 6:46 p.m. May 28, 1300 block Southeast Jetty Road. Tohonah Lee Bassler, 59, no known address in Warrenton, was arrested on suspicion of criminal trespassing and released pending a court hearing.

Trespassing, 9:11 p.m. May 29, Fred Meyer. Leeann Marie Gray, 36, of Seaview, Wash., was arrested for criminal trespassing and for contempt of court.

Traffic stop, 7:20 p.m. May 16, Fred Meyer parking lot. Driver cited for having no insurance.

Traffic stop, 9:55 p.m. May 22, Pacific Avenue at Seventh Street, Hammond. Driver cited for driving with a suspended license.

Traffic stop, 10:24 p.m. May 22, Ridge Road near Fort Stevens. Driver cited for driving with a suspended license.

Two-vehicle noninjury collision, 4:10 p.m. May 23, South Main Avenue at Second Street. A driver who rear-ended a vehicle that had stopped to turn into Main Street Market was cited for careless driving, driving while suspended and driving without insurance.

Running a stop sign, 10:40 p.m. May 23, South Main Avenue at Alternate Highway 101. Brooke A. Kimbrough, 19, of Warrenton was given a criminal citation for failing to carry and present a license and citations for having no operator license and failing to obey a traffic control device. A second person in the vehicle was issued a permit for allowing unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

Vandalism to a vehicle, 10 a.m. May 24, Goodwill parking lot. The car’s ham radio antenna was snipped while a man was at work.

Vehicle vs. parked car, 9:51 p.m. May 24, Southwest Second Street near Birch Court. Driver was given a citation for careless driving.

Two-vehicle collision with injuries, 9:42 a.m. May 25, Highway 101 at Southeast Ensign Lane. One driver was cited for failing to obey a traffic signal. The driver that was struck and a passenger in his car complained of pain and both were taken to Columbia Memorial Hospital by Medix.

Hit and run, 5:22 p.m. May 25, Warrenton Marina parking lot.

Reckless driving, 5:51 p.m. May 25, Fort Stevens Jetty Parking Lot. A driver from Israel was spotted “cutting cookies” and driving at high speed through the area. He was stopped by an officer on East Harbor Drive at Anchor Avenue and given a warning.

Running a stop sign, 8:10 p.m. May 25, Pacific and Lake streets, Hammond. Driver was cited for driving while suspended and failure to obey a traffic control device.

Rollover crash, 12:33 p.m. May 26, Peter Iredale Road in Fort Stevens State Park. Visitors from Arizona ran over the embankment on a curve, flipping their rental car on its top. Neither the driver nor his passenger was hurt.

Traffic stop, 3:40 a.m. May 27, Highway 101 at Harbor. Heather Ann Williamson, 19, of Ocean Park, Wash., was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants/drugs. A blood-alcohol content test recorded no alcohol in her system.

Two-vehicle noninjury collision, 6:09 p.m. May 27, Ensign Lane at Highway 101.

Traffic stop, 9:30 p.m. May 27, Strawberry Knoll. Driver William Satterwhite, 35, of Astoria was cited for criminal failure to carry and present a license and cited for driving while suspended and failure to register a vehicle.

Traffic stop, 6:20 p.m. May 28, East Harbor Drive at Anchor Avenue. Driver cited for failing to install an interlock device and driving while suspended.

Traffic stop, 1:40 p.m. May 29, Ensign Lane at Alternate Highway 101. Jeremy T. Gleason was cited for criminal possession of an invalid license and cited for driving while suspended, driving without insurance and having expired plates.

Traffic stop, 2:05 p.m. May 29, Ensign Lane at Alternate Highway 101. Driver cited for driving without insurance.

Two-vehicle noninjury collision, 2:20 p.m. May 29, Highway 101 at Ensign Lane. One driver cited for failing to obey a traffic control device.
