Thefts and burglaries

Shoplifting, 11:30 a.m. June 27, Walmart. Samantha R. Lillard, 28, of Ilwaco, Wash., was cited for second-degree theft after she allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for $145 in household items.

Shoplifting, 12:43 p.m. June 29, Walmart. Jacob S. Wieckowski, 37, of Seaside was cited for third-degree theft after he allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for $100 in tools.

Shoplifting, 1:30 p.m. June 29, Walmart. Danielle N. Duffey, 40, of Portland was cited for second-degree theft after she allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for $345 in merchandise, including a TV, watch and flashlight.

Stolen tools, 12:24 p.m. July 5, Lum’s Auto Center. A Gearhart man reported $1,073 in tools were missing from his vehicle.

Shoplifting, 5:47 p.m. July 7, Walmart. A 20-year-old Seaside man was trespassed from Walmart after he attempted to leave the store with $27 in miscellaneous bicycle items.

Stolen catalytic converters, 10:20 a.m. July 8, 100 block Southeast Neptune. A business reported someone cut and removed catalytic converters from a truck. Loss was estimated at $2,200.

Theft, 11:56 a.m. July 10, Walmart. Two people took bicycles from the store and did not stop when confronted by security. The bicycles were valued at $332.

Shoplifting, 3:52 p.m. July 10, Walmart. Katie A. Loomis, 33, of Gearhart was cited for third-degree theft and criminal mischief after she allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for $45 in storage bins and earphones.

Shoplifting, 7:01 p.m. July 10, Walmart. Terrance D. Ford Jr., 46, no known address, was cited for second-degree theft, criminal mischief and possession of methamphetamine after he allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for a drone and amplifier valued at $287.

Stolen laptop, 6:43 a.m. July 11, 33200 block Sunset Beach Lane.

Shoplifting, 3:16 p.m. July 11, Walmart. A man was able to bypass store security and leave the store with a GPS, Bluetooth transmitter, wallet and adapter valued at $305.

Stolen phone, 1:07 a.m. July 12, 200 block Southwest Alder Avenue.

Disturbance, 3 p.m. July 4, 0-100 block Alternate Highway 101. Kenneth J. Martin, 41, of Warrenton was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and menacing.

Trespassing, 10:47 p.m. July 6, Walmart. Vickie K. Childs, 41, of Warrenton was cited for criminal trespassing.

Dog at large, 2:38 p.m. July 7, 400 block Cedar Avenue. Garage door left open; returned to owner.

Vandalism, 10:36 a.m. July 9, Hammond Marina pay station kiosk.

Death investigation, 4:32 p.m. July 9, 600 block Northwest Ninth Street.

Dog bite, 1:09 p.m. July 11, 900 block Southeast Anchor Avenue. German shepherd was taken to county animal shelter for quarantine.

Found dog, 2:13 p.m. July 11, Ocean View Cemetery. White shih tzu taken to animal shelter and reunited with owner.

Found dog, 3:07 p.m. July 11, Highlife Adventures.

Stalking, 3:16 p.m. July 11, Walmart. Niccole Lynn Bay, 33, of Seaside was arrested on a Clatsop County Sheriff’s Office warrant.

Disturbance and possible assault, 12:54 a.m. July 12, 0-100 block Northwest Birch Avenue.

Dog at large, 1:06 p.m. July 12, 1200 block Third Avenue. Aggressive Chihuahua returned to owner, who was cautioned.

Traffic stop, 6:08 p.m. July 1, Harbor Drive at Highway 101. Driver cited for having no license or insurance.

Traffic stop, 7:10 p.m. July 1, South Main Avenue at 10th Place. Driver cited for driving while suspended and having no insurance.

Running a stop sign, 9:15 p.m. July 1, Alternate Highway 101 at Ensign Lane. Driver cited.

Traffic stop, 3:50 p.m. July 2, Marlin Avenue at Highway 101. Driver cited for having no insurance.

Traffic stop, 11:14 p.m. July 2, Ensign Lane at Highway 101. Driver cited for driving while suspended and having no insurance.

Abandoned vehicle, 6:20 a.m. July 3, 800 block Alternate Highway 101. Owner cited.

Speeding, 12:05 p.m. July 3, Ridge Road at Parkview Apartments. Driver cited for going 64 in a 45 mph zone.

Reckless driving, 5:08 p.m. July 3, near Dairy Maid. Bill Dean DeMoss, 84, of Seaside was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants. His blood-alcohol level was recorded at 0.07 percent.

Traffic stop, 7 p.m. July 3, Highway 101 at Ensign Lane. Driver cited for driving while suspended and having no insurance.

Two-vehicle collision, no injuries, 12:55 p.m. July 4, parking lot on Discovery Lane.

Traffic stop, 2:48 p.m. July 4, Fred Meyer parking lot. Driver cited for having no license or insurance.

Speeding, 11:40 p.m. July 4, Ridge Road at Fort Stevens State Park. Driver cited for going 65 in a 45 mph zone.

Road-struck deer, 9:49 a.m. July 6, Pacific Drive and Fleet Street.

Rear-end collision, no injuries, 10:28 a.m. July 7, Ensign and Discovery lanes.

Traffic stop, 3:13 p.m. July 7, Northwest Warrenton Drive at Northwest Ninth Street. Driver cited for driving while suspended and having no insurance.

Traffic stop, 10:08 p.m. July 7, South Main Avenue at 11th Street. Driver cited for driving while suspended and having no insurance.

Reckless driving, 2:25 a.m. July 8, Southwest Ninth Street at Southwest Cedar Avenue. Joshua R. Shipley, 20, of Warrenton was arrested on suspicion of reckless driving, attempting to elude police on his Kawasaki dirt bike, driving while suspended and having no insurance.

Fender-bender, 4:22 p.m. July 8, Walmart parking lot.

Speeding, 6:15 p.m. July 8, Ridge Road at Long Lake Drive. Driver cited for going 69 in a 45 mph zone.

Traffic stop, 10:58 p.m. July 8, Highway 101 at Ensign Lane. Driver cited for driving while suspended.

Single-car crash, 1:09 p.m. July 9, Costco. Male driver, 54, found slumped over steering wheel after it left road, drove over the sidewalk and nearly struck a parked vehicle. Driver taken to Columbia Memorial Hospital.

Reckless driving, 12:57 a.m. July 10, Lake Drive and Eighth Avenue. Cody R. Green, 20, of Yakima, Wash., was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants. His blood-alcohol level was recorded at 0.00 percent.

Three-vehicle collision, possible injuries, 1:57 p.m. July 10, Ridge Road at Peter Iredale Lane. A driver turning into Fort Stevens State Park crossed into the path of an oncoming car and then glanced off a third vehicle stopped at the stop sign. Driver cited for making a dangerous left turn.

Traffic stop, 12:15 p.m. July 11, Harbor Drive at Marlin Avenue. Driver cited for having no driving privileges and no insurance.

Hit-and-run, 5:54 p.m. July 11, Fred Meyer parking lot.
