The Warriors earned a 62-6 win against visiting Gaston last Friday night.

“It was even better because it was Senior Night,” said Giovanni Martinez, Warrenton’s senior wide receiver. “The crowd was great. All three teams stepped forward for this win: offense, defense, and the special teams.”

Added Assistant Coach Nathan McBride, “Friday night was a great night for Warrtenton football, our seniors and the community of Warrenton.”

Martinez stepped up and delivered a career performance with three rushing touchdowns, McBride said.

“Senior Kaleo Kapua anchored another strong defensive performance for the Warriors from the middle linebacker position,” McBride said. “Friday was a great all-around team effort for us as we continue into the last week of the regular season.”

The Warriors finish the season Friday at Nestucca.
