** Warrants

Warrant service, 10:45 a.m. Nov. 26, 300 block Alternate Highway 101. Kathleen Louise Edwards, 35, of Warrenton was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant out of Clatsop County Circuit Court.

** Thefts and burglaries

Identity theft, 5:40 p.m. Nov. 12, Walmart. Tia A. Wieckowski, 29, of Astoria was arrested on suspicion of identity theft, forgery, criminal mischief and unlawful possession of a personal identification device.

Shoplifting, 1:29 p.m. Nov. 16, Fred Meyer. Daniel Bradley Yates, 31, with no known address was cited for criminal second-degree theft after he walked out of the store without paying for $210 in merchandize stuffed in his backpack.

Shoplifting, 4:30 p.m. Nov. 16, Walmart. Tammi Jo Spendlove, 31, of Hammond was cited for criminal third-degree theft after she attempted to leave the store without paying for shoes valued at $6.

Shoplifting, 6:44 p.m. Nov. 17, Walmart. Joshua R. Mendenhall, 33, of Warrenton was cited for criminal second-degree theft after he allegedly attempted to leave the store without paying for $102 in Magic the Gathering cards.

Shoplifting, 9:19 p.m. Nov. 17, Walmart. Clarissa Lynn Moore, 29, of Seaside was arrested on suspicion of second-degree theft, third-degree criminal mischief and possession of a controlled substance after she attempted to leave the store without paying for $87 in merchandise.

Shoplifting, 5:08 p.m. Nov. 19, Walmart. Alejandra Espinoza, 23, of Astoria was cited for second-degree theft and criminal mischief after she attempted to leave the store without paying for $171 in games and personal care products.

Shoplifting, 12:56 p.m. Nov. 22, Fred Meyer. A loss-prevention officer reports a man suspected of stealing several small bottles of wine earlier in the day. He had previously been trespassed but kept attempting to re-enter the store. Joshua Henry Marshall, 34, of Astoria was arrested on a parole and probation detainer warrant.

Stolen car, 7:35 p.m. Nov. 22, Walmart. A Seaside man reported his Honda Civic stolen from the parking lot during the half an hour he was inside shopping. The following day, the vehicle was found blocking an entrance to Costco. Its stereo system had been removed and glove box rifled through.

Shoplifting, 8:20 p.m. Nov. 23, Walmart. Kourtney M. Scott, 28, of Astoria was cited for second-degree theft and criminal mischief when she attempted to leave the store without paying for $465 in clothes, food and other items.

Shoplifting, 10 p.m. Nov. 23, Walmart. Blair D. Hernandez, 26, of Warrenton was cited for third-degree theft after she attempted to leave the store without paying for $30 in pet food and merchandise.

Stolen car found, 5:31 a.m. Nov. 24, parking area behind Rite Aid. The Honda Civic had been stolen during the night from the Shilo Inn parking lot with its stereo and $845 in construction tools missing and the glove box rifled through. Car located by police before the owner was aware it was missing.

Shoplifting, 12:31 a.m. Nov. 26, Walmart. Patricia E. Havens, 27, of Warrenton was cited for third-degree theft after she attempted to leave the store without paying for $24 in Frixion pens.

** Suspicious circumstances/disturbances

Trespassing, 7:30 p.m. Nov. 14, 0-100 block Alternate Highway 101. Rhiannon M. Nickerson, 35, of Warrenton was cited for first-degree criminal trespassing.

Transients refusing to leave, 9:39 a.m. Nov. 16, Highway 101 south of Warrenton Kia. A man clearing out brush called police when a couple camping in their tent refused to leave. T’shuva R. Berman, 26, and Jared C. Cupit, 43, were cited for criminal offensive littering.

Trespassing, 9:02 p.m. Nov. 16, Costco. A man riding a bicycle in the parking lot without a shirt refused to leave. Subject trespassed from property.

Man sleeping in front foyer of business, 10:58 p.m. Nov. 16, United Grocers. A 53-year-old Coos Bay man was trespassed from location.

Trespassing, 1:25 a.m. Nov. 17, Walmart. Lonie C. Davis, 40, of Astoria was cited for criminal trespassing after he returned after previously being trespassed from the shopping center.

Disturbance, 3:11 p.m. Nov. 17, O’Reilly Auto Parts. Two men who wanted to use what appeared to be a stolen credit card were declined service and then caused a disturbance and began harassing customers outside the store and at Uptown Café. The men were trespassed from both locations.

Aggressive elk, 5:58 p.m. Nov. 17, 500 block Southwest First Street. A man reports an aggressive bull elk broke his fence.

Trespassing, 2:13 a.m. Nov. 18, 100 block Highway 101. T’shuva R. Berman, 26, of Warrenton was cited for second-degree criminal trespassing.

Public drunkenness, 4 p.m. Nov. 21, 1500 block Honeysuckle Loop. A 20-year-old Warrenton man was cited for being a minor in possession of alcohol by consumption.

Check on subjects, 6:25 p.m. Nov. 21, Robinson Community Park. Terra Westfall, 44, of Astoria was booked at Clatsop County Jail on an Oregon Parole Board warrant.

Stabbing, 8:09 p.m. Nov. 22, 100 block South Main Street. Allison Lee Stinnett, 33, of Warrenton was arrested on suspicion of stabbing her boyfriend approximately 12 times with a thin-pointed metal punch. She was booked at Clatsop County Jail for second-degree assault.

Dog left with no water, food or shelter, 3:57 p.m. Nov. 24, Marlin Avenue at Harbor Drive. Jared C. Cupit, 43, with no known address, was cited for criminal animal neglect.

Trespassing, 4:40 p.m. Nov. 24, 100 block East Harbor Drive. Marcus Lee Journot, 28, with no known address, was cited for criminal trespassing.

Female assault victim, 10:10 p.m. Nov. 24, 0-100 block Southwest Eighth Street.

Suspicious circumstances, 11:50 a.m. Nov. 25. A man reported a suspicious male taking apart a refrigerator. Timothy Scott Shaffer, 61, of Warrenton was arrested on a Clatsop County sheriff’s warrant and booked at Clatsop County Jail.

Vehicle into building, 1:45 p.m. Nov. 14, Warrenton Liquor Store. A driver’s shoelaces caught on the accelerator, causing his vehicle to lunge forward.

Vehicle into ditch with property damage, 6:45 p.m. Nov. 14, Northwest Warrenton Drive near Carruthers corner. Driver cited for going too fast for conditions. An 18-year-old passenger in the vehicle complained of pain.

Hit and run, 2:35 p.m. Nov. 16, TJ Maxx parking lot. Jaime Granillo-Rodriguez, 61, of Cannon Beach was cited for criminal failure to perform the duties of a driver following an accident.

Speeding, 1:20 p.m. Nov. 17, Ridge Road at Fort Stevens. Driver cited for going 65 in a 45 mph zone.

Speeding, 5:05 p.m. Nov. 17, Ridge Road at Park View Apartments. Driver cited for going 65 in a 45 mph zone.

Traffic stop, 9:59 p.m. Nov. 17, South Main Avenue at Alternate Highway 101. Driver cited for driving while suspended, driving without insurance and failing to renew registration.

Speeding, 1:17 a.m. Nov. 18, Highway 101 at Ensign Lane. Driver cited for going 69 in a 55 mph zone.

Running a stop sign, 5:55 a.m. Nov. 18, North Main Avenue at Skipanon Drive. Driver cited. Two-vehicle collision, minor injuries, 1:31 p.m. Nov. 19, Youngs Bay Plaza.

Fender-bender, 11:47 a.m. Nov. 18, Fred Meyer parking lot.

Abandoned, stripped vehicle blocking road, 6:20 p.m. Nov. 21, Willow near Huckleberry. Vehicle towed and attempt made to contact owner from Bend.

Traffic stop, 11:29 p.m. Nov. 21, Ensign at Highway 101. Driver cited for failing for carry proof of insurance.

Speeding, 1:40 p.m. Nov. 22, North Main Avenue at Northwest First Street. Driver cited for going 58 in a 35 mph zone.
