Bank to donate closing branch for medical clinic in Naselle

Thursday, January 3, 2019

Bank of the Pacific will donate its branch in Naselle, Wash., to Ocean Beach Hospital for use as a medical clinic.

The branch at 309 Knappton Road is 2,000 square feet and slated to close Feb. 1.

Customer accounts will be consolidated into the nearby Bank of the Pacific branches in coastal Washington and Oregon. An automated teller machine will be retained at the building site.

The hospital’s medical clinic in Naselle is in a 1,000-square-foot mobile home about 2 miles from the new building. It has been part of the Naselle community for over 35 years.

The new location offers twice the space and the medical clinic will benefit from the increased visibility.

The Bank of the Pacific branch in Warrenton also will close, but the bank will retain the building and keep the ATM there functioning.
